The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University is currently accepting applications for 2025.

As the first Nigerian university to collaborate with the Mastercard Foundation on this transformative program, the Pan-African University is committed to empowering and educating 650 Mastercard Foundation Scholars over the next 10 years.

Mastercard Foundation Scholars are leaders and changemakers, both during their studies and after graduation. A core principle of the program is giving back to their communities across Africa.

At Pan-Atlantic University, this commitment is put into action through various volunteer and community service opportunities, allowing scholars to make a tangible difference.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) is dedicated to:

Eligibility

Applicants who:

  • Demonstrate academic excellence
  • Demonstrate leadership potential
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Are young women interested in STEM programmes
  • Are internally displaced young people
  • Are young people with disabilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to giving back to their community.
  • Must have passed WAEC/ NECO/ GCE/ NABTEB with 5 credits including English and Mathematics and three other subjects in Arts, Sciences and Social Science in not more than two sittings.
  • UTME Minimum Score of 220 (The required UTME subjects are English Language and any three of Social Science, Arts or Science subjects)

Application

  • Indicate Interest (Awaiting UTME): Candidates with a minimum of five O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English Language in no more than two sittings) who do not yet have their UTME results should fill out this form.
  • Begin Application (UTME Ready): Candidates with both five O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English Language within two sittings) AND a minimum UTME score of 220 in the current year should click here to start their application now.
