June 3, 2025 – The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the NPRGS Initiative Application Form under the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS).
This programme, led by the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning and coordinated by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (OSSAP-TVEE), aims to equip 1,800 Nigerian youths with skills to improve their income.
“This initiative will reach all six geo-political zones, focusing on technical and vocational training,” the organisers said. The current application form is open to residents of Abuja, Anambra, Bauchi, Delta, Kebbi, and Ondo States.
Interested applicants should complete the form online and answer all questions honestly for a fair selection process.
In Bauchi, training includes agropreneurship, tailoring, and solar installations. Anambra youths will learn electrical installations, tailoring, and solar energy.
Delta offers graphic design, agro-packaging, and electrical work. In Kebbi, skills include web development and cosmetology. Ondo provides training in agro-packaging, beauty, and fashion design, while FCT Abuja focuses on the same three sectors.
