Kike AI, Nigeria’s first intelligent kitchen assistant platform, has officially launched the KCIC 2025, a dynamic and purpose-driven student innovation competition that invites teams from tertiary institutions across Nigeria to build solutions for the country’s kitchen and cooking gas economy.
Backed by SMEFUNDS and tied to Kike AI’s national mission to digitize food and gas systems, this challenge is a springboard for the next generation of leaders to transform how Nigerians cook, connect, and create value using artificial intelligence, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and policy innovation.

KCIC 2025 is all about sparking real-world solutions within two core impact areas:
- Food System Innovation – addressing logistics, affordability, and digital access.
- Cooking Gas Distribution – reimagining supply models through smarter technology, storytelling, and policy.

Eligibility Criterias for the 2025 Kike AI Campus Impact Challenge
This challenge is open to all students passionate about solving real problems through innovation in the food and gas sectors:
- All applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student in a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
- Teams of 3–5 members.
- Each team must represent a recognized campus.
- Must apply through a verified Campus Ambassador or via the official Kike AI portal.
- Must submit a 2-minute pitch video.
- Must identify at least one community/stakeholder partner (e.g. chef, gas vendor, local restaurant).
- All disciplines are welcome – Engineering, Computer Science, Agriculture, Media, Policy, Sciences, Business, and Creative Arts.
